General information on data protection

Within the scope of our work, which may include empirical analyses of microdata as well as the collection of data, it is important to us as an organisation to observe the principles of data protection in accordance with data protection legislation but also the guidelines of empirical economic research and the collection of individual microdata.

Personal and operational data are always treated confidentially. They must be protected from inspection by third parties during the entire process (collection, processing, analysis, as well as storage). Only project employees may access the data exclusively for the assigned project goals.

When accessing this website, the user’s internet browser automatically transmits the following data to the web server for technical reasons

This log data is stored in a log file to ensure data security. The stored data tracks unauthorised access attempts and accesses to the web server. Any further use of the protocol data is exclusively for statistical purposes in an anonymous form.

The user has the right to receive free of charge information about his personal data stored by Economix Research & Consulting. Furthermore, the user has the right to demand the correction of inaccurate personal data concerning him or her and the blocking and deleting of his or her personal data. Information on server log data can only be provided, and requests for blocking and deletion can only be processed by us if the user notifies us of the IP address he used when accessing the website.
